Workshop Overview
This workshop introduces participants to the principles and practice of Human Rights-Based Approaches (HRBA) and their relevance in designing equitable and inclusive development programs. Participants will explore the evolution and importance of rights-based approaches across sectors such as education and livelihoods, while gaining an understanding of the international human rights conventions and national frameworks that underpin them. Through practical discussions and examples, the session will unpack the HRBA framework and demonstrate how its principles can be integrated into program design to strengthen impact, accountability, and inclusion.
