Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of colabglobal.org (the “Site”) and the services provided by MIE Design Private Limited, operating as CoLab (“CoLab”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

CoLab is the brand of MIE Design Private Limited, a company registered in India (GSTIN 29AARCM8614J1ZQ), with its registered office at #605, 15th Cross, Outer Ring Road, 1st Phase, J P Nagar, Bangalore South, Bangalore 560078, Karnataka.

2. Our services

CoLab provides AI enablement and consulting services to organizations and individuals, including training, workflow setup, and building custom AI tools. The scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or statement of work agreed with the client. If anything conflicts, the signed proposal prevails over the general description on this Site.

3. Use of the Site

The content here is for general information. You agree not to misuse the Site, disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Fees, invoicing and taxes

Fees are as agreed in the applicable proposal. Invoices are raised in Indian Rupees or another agreed currency, and applicable taxes, including GST, are charged as per law.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed by our third party payment provider. We do not store your card or bank credentials. Payment is due as stated on the invoice or proposal.

6. Intellectual property

Materials and tools we create for a client are governed by that engagement’s terms. Content on this Site, including text, logos and graphics, belongs to CoLab and may not be copied without permission.

7. Confidentiality

Each party protects the other’s confidential information shared during an engagement and uses it only for that engagement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always on this Site.

    Rucha Jayant Pande

    Rucha Pande is the Founder and Director of CoLab Global. Prior to this, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Mantra4Change since April 2021 and headed the Design team at the organization since 2017. A graduate of MA in Education from the Azim Premji University and the Genpact Social Impact Fellowship, Rucha specializes in designing for scale. She aspires to nurture civil society organizations in the global south to develop high-quality, impact-driven programs that leverage and contribute to evidence in the social sector.
